Our Discovery Conversations

Before we enter into any agreements we take the time to understand our prospects to make sure we are both a good fit for each other or not.  If it's a fit.... we move on to the next stage.   If the timing isn't right, we stop.   

Entering Into the Agreement

Our agreements put our clients in the driver's seat.   Our job is to create a market for each client and we don't get paid unless we bring you offers and a deal is completed.   You can end the agreement at any time should your goals change through the process.  There is no financial risk to our clients - we just ask that they be serious about merging or selling before we dive in 100%.   

Identify Potential Acquirers

We prepare a "blind summary" of your company and send to potential buyers.   Once we identify those interested parties, will gather Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA's), then we will forward financial information and our "ebook" about your company.

Deal Strategy and Negotiation

Once acquirers have expressed their interest, we set up meetings between the buyers and our clients.  This is where our consultations really pay off, as we coach our clients on strategies to maximize their value.   The goal of this stage is to receive multiple Letters of Intent (LOI) so our clients can choose the best fit for their goals and situation. 

Gathering Information

This step involves gathering the financial and other information that potential buyers will want to see in order to make an offer.   We analyze the information and present in a way that will position your company to achieve the highest offers and also meet your growth or exit goals.

Closing the Transaction

Our clients appreciate our value during this stage, as we organize and assist in the due diligence phase of the buyer.  This is where many deals will fall apart without the expertise of a great consultant team.  We arrange for site visits and work with the legal teams on both sides to make sure the deal goes through to close.
